Hi guys! It’s Easter Sunday and for me that means My redeemer lives! Today is such an amazing day to feel unconditionally loved because we were loved first. I think if you do or don’t believe in Christ being Lord, at least just hear me out when I tell you that you are incredibly loved and forgiven. More than pastel colors, having the perfect ootd, having a good meal, hunting for easter eggs (thought I’ve never personally gone an easter egg hunt…I don’t think? lol) today for me is filled with gratitude. Today for me represents that even though I fail God each and every day I know that if I just come with a humble heart and reach back out to him, he is there. I don’t deserve that but grace and mercy are new every waking day. I’m not sure how many of my readers have a personal relationship with Jesus or even know who Jesus is BUT I want to encourage you to think about this: Think about the person that means the most to you in this entire universe. What would you do for them? What would you sacrifice to save this person? Would you die? Would you send your only son/daughter to die in place for this person you love so much? Honestly, in my own humanity I don’t think I could sacrifice something like that…for anyone and I don’t even have kids! Lol Imagine how much more God loves you, when he gave his one and only son for YOU, for ME, for us. Throughout your day today, take a second in your head and just say “thank you” even if you don’t believe, I promise you He’s listening. It’s like air…just because we don’t see air it doesn’t mean it’s not there.
If you’re still reading…thank you! Do you want to know a bit about my outfit now? Haha. I wanted to give you a look using a fashion hack that I’ve used before, just not too often. A lot of times I want to wear certain tops and I don’t own them! So, I use my dresses as tops. Remember the yellow dress I wore in my birthday post under the leather jacket? WELL here it is again…as a top! I knew since the skirt was so flowy I could totally get away with it. If you want to try this I suggest trying it under a skirt like this, that’s fitted at the waist, so that the double layers of the dress plus the skirt is not noticeable! Fashion Hack #1 for the summer: try your dress under a skirt for a new fresh look! Check out these yellow pieces that you need for summer!
