Hi guys! Today I am literally SO FREAKIN’ PUMPED because I have teamed up with ThredUP to bring you two looks inspired around the spring season! During spring life gets colorful, flowers blossom, we start getting excited over music festivals (Coachella, I see you coming around the corner honey. FYI I’m working on something fun for that) we spend lots of time gaining our tan back, and we get excited about a new wardrobe.
If you know me then you’d be so proud to know that I already did a spring cleaning! Boooy did it feel so good to get rid of stuff that was collecting dust in my closet! Sometimes I get stuck on various pieces and those are the ones I will style over and over in multiple ways, those I’m totally keeping. Do you have those sorts of pieces? If you don’t it’s probably time for a spring cleaning! Did you know ThredUP buys clothing? Follow this link and go under the ‘clean out’ tab to get a kit! It’ll make you feel better to get rid of your old stuff.
Speaking of old stuff, which isn’t a bad thing, I’ve been into re-purposing my ‘old’ clothing since high school! I love finding new ways to re-style, re-vamp, re-wear most of my clothes! Which is why I really felt this partnership was absolutely 100% perfect! I mean come on, I get to show you these amazing #secondhandfirst clothing in a new way.
Of course I had to do a floral piece because…super groundbreaking haha. No, really this dress is so feminine which is why I kept details to a minimum, the dress alone is gorgeous. I love pairing prints with something crisp, like this bright white bag. It helps to keep my look in it’s place. I love mixing prints but since I kept this look very girly I wanted my bag to emphasize that, hence the one color satchel.
This second look is so fun, bold, daring, and totally out there…for me! I loved wearing and styling these with gold dangle earrings and a suede layered choker. I thought gold tones and camel brown would be super ‘festival-y’. Did I get it? Haha I love the slits on the side of this jumpsuit and those flared sleeves? CAN WE SAY TRENDY! I love that you can still find really trendy pieces at a reasonable price while on ThredUp. Have I ever told you guys I always search for seasonal trends at my local thrift, and places like ThredUp, store BEFORE heading to the retail stores? I totally just gave you my biggest darkest secret on how I keep my closet trendy + affordable season to season. WOAH. I’m so excited that ThredUp said HECK YA let’s do this! Thank you so much for reading! If you check out their site (here) I am 100% SURE, you will find something you love! Tell me about what you find! OH and by the way before you go…I saved $90.02 on my dress and jumpsuit. Wanna go shopping now or what? 🙂
