Valentine’s Day | What to Wear + Gift Guide

Hi loves and Happy Monday. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and while nick and I don’t have romantic dinner plans because I work I sure have some outfit options to share with you all. I saw an old photo in where I wore a red top and it was from about 7 years ago…Let’s just say I haven’t had a red top since. I was browsing through some of the new tops at Charming Charlie and saw this one which I thought was quite cute! I really the back lace up detail and the fact that you can completely take the string out and put in something else! Maybe a pretty satin ribbon for a more girly vibe? So, hopefully my red tank will inspire you to pull out yours  and wear it in a new fresh way. Direct link to the top I’m wearing here. FYI- yes, I am totally wearing the same top from above but backwards. Had to do it for the lace up detail!

This first look is geared more for daytime, casually romantic! I have been obsessed with finding stripe ‘staples’ so if these were already in my closet, I’d go for these pants for sure. I like showing a little toe when wearing long pants like this, hence the choice of heel. Plus, the vertical stripes give the perfect illusion of longer legs.

The second look is totally opposite, In my opinion, here is where sexy comes in. We can’t go wrong with wearing embroidered flowers; especially if we are hinting we’re in need of a fresh dozen roses. HEEEELLLO!  (I’d tuck my top in with this skirt)

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be geared towards couples, just tell the people you love how much you loooove them! It doesn’t have to displayed through a huge expensive gift, just make it memorable. Speaking of gifts, did you guys enjoy the gift guide video Nick and I did? If you missed it, it’s right here! I loved all of these gift ideas and my favorite part is that they can be directed towards anyone that you love. I think my favorite gifts so far have been some sort of Do-It-Yourself. You still have until tomorrow to feel ‘the pressure’ of getting gifts and chocolate so watch the video and get going! Really though, we can make DIY gifts, buy something romantic, and even make a whole day of events to show how much we love our dear ones on the daily. But tomorrow just take a second to pray blessings over their life. Thank God for keeping your loved ones safe and ready for more loving as the days go on! 💕 Have a happy Valentine’s Day.
