Hey everyone happy Monday! I usually never post at night but I couldn’t wait to tell you about my tommy jeans! One of the best things about thrifting is that you never know when you will find yourself a nice little treasure. This past weekend Nick, Anthony and I headed over to Tampa to spend the weekend with Nicks parents and they took us to a lot filled with shops. They had everything from lamps, to tools, to these $1 jeans. Yes, you heard me…one dollar. We were just walking by one of the shops and before I knew it I was handing my dollar bill over to the man telling me jokes about these jeans being bell bottoms because he hung them with a pair of bells! (thrift lot humor?) I didn’t even try them on, I washed them when we got back home and once I put them on they fit so nicely I didn’t take them off. I was so funny when I asked Nick to take photos of these jeans because I tried so hard to sit with my butcheek up so that you were able to see the “tommy” patch Lol. At least I didn’t ask a stranger to photograph my booty, right?

These jeans got me thinking of all the awesome patched up denim we saw during fall and how embroidery has been the rage recently. I think the placement of your patches and embroidery is really what sets up your piece apart. So check out some of these pieces down below:
