Last time I saw you guys on here we officially said hello to fall. Since then, I’ve traveled, I’ve caught up on some favorite shows, I did a huge closet clean, my mom had surgery, I announced that I wanted to start weekly styling videos AND I have some collaborations in the works. Time really flies by and I didn’t even notice how neglected my blog has been! I’ve been feeling like I haven’t been working on my baby, The Model’s Market, though I guess secretly I have been working and looking into new ventures. These pictures were taken before Nick and I headed to Chicago (a while ago, right?). I remember feeling so happy over this look and how it all came together that I got inspired, today, by this look to share it here on the blog. I told myself all summer that I needed more dresses. More core pieces. (hence my closet cleanse). More to build of off and well, style in a unique way. I’ve got to say I totally scored when I found this polka dot dress on mega sale at H&M.

Anyway, here is why I got inspired by this outfit: I remembered why I love styling. That morning I was SO ready to wake up and get ready. I had this look ready to go for a couple days prior and I was waiting for the perfect day to bring it out. As I thought back to why I put this together I remembered this: I pretty much always strive to get out of my comfort zone when styling and dressing up. I know there are people who don’t like to dress up, my casual peeps, my effortless ladies. We also have others that love to think about what pieces go together to create a unique look. That’s me: I love the strategy of putting wardrobe pieces together. If fashion was math, your girl would be a genius. Ok, that sounds conceited but what I mean is that I truly enjoy getting dressed and trying out all sorts of combinations. LOL. I’m such a weirdo that I will literally say “spending time in my closet putting together outfits” as a hobby in ANY application.

We all have that one thing that reels us back in when we feel a little ‘why do I do THIS?’ right? It’s funny that this time it happened to be the last time I got creative with something old in my closet! What is yours?

**I need your help!** The two main reasons why I want to start my weekly styling videos are to 1) inspire you and 2) inspire me! I love when I get to specifically focus on something that will inspire you guys because in return it inspires me to keep going. You know what I mean? You guys are my team.

How can you help? Well, let me know what I should style in the first video? Leave your suggestions below.
